Many hot blast stove burners are defective. After the stoppage of the hot blast stove, the inspection of the burner shows that the blunt bodies of each burner will be worn and deformed greatly. Especially the blunt bodies of the burner of the hot blast stove will be destroyed in the normal aerodynamic condition of the furnace because of wear and tear. When the extinguishing stability in the furnace is reduced and the extinguishing condition in the furnace is greatly disturbed, the hot blast stove is very prone to fire extinguishing. To avoid fire extinguishing by hot blast stove burner, the following points are needed: 1、进一步增强对运转人员的培训。经过技术讲课、现场技术考问等方式，进步运转人员技术程度；经过展开事故料想，反事故演习等方式，进步管理人员的处置事故才能，防止燃烧器灭火事故的扩展。
1. Further strengthen the training of operators. Through technical lectures and on-site technical questioning, the technical level of operators will be improved; through unfolding accident anticipation and anti-accident exercises, the management personnel will be improved in dealing with accidents, so as to prevent the expansion of burner fire extinguishing accidents.
2. Strengthen the inspection and maintenance of equipment, especially the shutdown of spare units, find hidden troubles of equipment, such as burner blunt body wear, scattered, and so on, promptly notify maintenance personnel to stop disposing.
3. Strengthen the management of coal blending, reduce the variation of low calorific value of coal, especially coal quality, and prevent coking in the hearth of hot blast stove caused by coal quality change (high calorific value at low level), disturb the extinguishing condition in the furnace when large coke falls down, and cause fire extinguishing accident of hot blast stove. When the low calorific value of coal quality is too high, it is easy to form furnace coking; but when coal quality is too high, it is easy to form furnace coking.
When the low calorific value of coal is too low, it is easy to form unstable quenching of hot stove, the main steam pressure of hot stove can not rise, and the unit can not carry load. How to mix it more appropriately remains to be further studied.
4. Strengthen the regulation of hot-blast stove extinguishing to prevent coal combustion from producing recoverable gas due to anoxic extinguishing, which reduces the ST value of coal combustion and causes coking in hot-blast stove. In addition, the air distribution in the furnace should be adjusted according to the coal quality to prevent coking in the furnace due to the deflection of the flame in the furnace and its adherence to the wall.
